Short bio (100 words)

Daniel Maclean is an independent originator working from a workshop in the UK. He writes books, designs games and builds systems, sold direct to readers rather than through retailers. Two books lead the launch line — Mission Control, a decision-making system for high-pressure work, and I’m Not Drunk, notes from year three of sobriety. Behind them: a nine-book dark fantasy series (as F. E. R. Mills), an AI dystopian novel, a party card game, a kids’ sports adventure line, and further non-fiction. Sister site Thought Council is the research arm.
